At Heartland, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care in a manner that nurtures the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all those we serve.

Heartland Living & Rehabilitation was created to offer an enlightened approach to providing health care services. Our philosophy is to ensure that residents have skilled and compassionate care while enabling them to experience the highest quality of life. Our mission is to provide a place where residents are treated with dignity and respect, and where activities are planned that support each person’s independence and self-esteem. We do all we can to create an environment that allows our residents to enjoy this phase of their lives, feel they are part of a caring family, and know they are safe and well looked after by a concerned and capable staff.

We offer such amenities as Private and Semi-Private Rooms, Hair Salon, Internet Access, private enclosed courtyards, social events and activities. Visit us to see our unique interactive computer system targeted for our older residents.  These amenities, together with outstanding Nursing and Rehabilitation Therapy, make Heartland unrivaled in the level of residential health care service available in the area.

Our Medicare and Medicaid certified facility is designed for those who have complex medical conditions and for those who are recovering from surgery or illness. We offer a comprehensive rehabilitation program to help each resident reach their maximum recovery potential, as well as:
  • Wound Care
  • Pain Management
  • Therapeutic Activities
  • End of Life Care
  • Respite Care

We offer numerous activities available to our residents that address their physical, mental and spiritual needs, such as:
  • Religious Services
  • Resident Outings
  • Recreational Activities
  • Special Event Celebrations
  • Beauty and Barber Services
We also make it convenient for residents to keep optometry, dental and audiology appointments and can arrange for transportation for those residents who may not have it readily available.  Residents’ emotional and spiritual needs may be provided for by our Social Worker, Activities Director, Community Leaders, and Faith Leaders.  We always encourage visits from family, friends, and volunteers.
